Community Relations
Grant Requests

Western Digital, under the leadership of CEO Steve Milligan, believes in our responsibility to be a good neighbor in the communities in which we operate, and a steward of our world's resources. The quality of life and education, the well-being of our employees and their families, and the economic health of our society are of vital interest to Western Digital. As a corporation, we support organizations that improve education, support basic human needs, as well as programs protecting the environment and our communities.

If you are a non-profit organization seeking a grant from Western Digital, we strongly encourage you to review our full guidelines and funding priorities prior to submitting a grant application. In addition, you may want to be prepared with the following documentation, which you will need to upload into our online application:

  • Budgets for your organization and for the program for which you are seeking funding
  • Financial reports which include income and expenses for the last two years
  • The organization’s most recent IRS Form 990
  • List of the board of directors, or board of trustees, and their affiliations
  • List of current corporate sponsors

The application for our next grant cycle will be available on December 1, 2014. As of that date, you will be able to access the application by clicking here:
