Shipping and Handling Information

The WD Store offers a variety of shipping and handling options at several different prices and delivery schedules through FedEx® and UPS®. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO, APO and international addresses. When reviewing the items in your shopping basket, enter your ZIP code in the shipping estimator box to calculate shipping charges.

Next Day Shipping, P.M.: Afternoon of the next business day after shipment. Items may be shipped by a variety of carriers, including UPS and FedEx.

2 Day Shipping: Afternoon of the 2nd business day after shipment. Items may be shipped by a variety of carriers, including UPS and FedEx.

Standard Shipping: 2 to 7 business days after shipment. Items may be shipped by a variety of carriers, including UPS and FedEx.

NOTE: From time to time, it may be necessary to ship products with special handling rules, service levels and/or weight and size restrictions using another carrier. You will be notified at time of shipment which carrier has been selected for your order and details on how to obtain delivery information.

• Orders placed for in-stock items before 4 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday will usually ship within one business day. Please note that we may have to verify your billing information. Any incomplete or incorrect information may result in processing delays. There are no Saturday or Sunday shipments or deliveries.
• Shipment confirmation emails with tracking numbers are sent the business day after your order ships.
• If your shipping information differs from your billing information, your order may be delayed for verification. Due to shipper restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, U.S. Territories or international addresses.
• Please note that we do not offer Saturday, Sunday, or holiday shipping or deliveries.

How can I track my order?
To track your items after placing your order, please visit the WD Store and click the "Order Tracking" link on the homepage and login to your account. This will give you access to tracking numbers for all of your orders.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Most items ordered from the WD Store ship from WD’s warehouse in Southern California. Most orders placed before 1 p.m. PT on a weekday ship the same day. The warehouse does not ship products on weekends.
You can calculate approximately how long it will take for UPS to deliver your order by visiting the UPS Website.

Sometimes products ship from backup warehouses. The location your drive shipped from will be listed in your shipment confirmation e-mail.

What states does the WD Store charge tax in?
The WD Store is required to collect tax for residents of the following states: California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington.
